Enso uses your location only when you're actively discovering people nearby. We never sell your data. We never store your exact location permanently. You control what you share.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: Email, display name, optional profile photo. Profile Information: Interests, bio, gallery photos (visible based on your settings). Location Data: Used transiently for proximity discovery. Not stored permanently. Revocable anytime in device settings. Usage Data: Anonymized crash reports and performance metrics. Messages: Stored to deliver to other users. Chat sessions are temporary and expire.
2. How We Use Your Information
• Proximity discovery: show nearby users, events, venues • Matching: facilitate mutual "collisions" • Communication: enable temporary chat sessions • Safety: enforce guidelines, respond to reports • Improvements: analyze anonymized usage patterns • Notifications: matches, messages, events (with permission)
3. Information Sharing
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Other Users: Profile name, photo, interests visible during discovery. Exact location never shared. Service Providers: Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), RevenueCat (subscriptions) — bound by data protection agreements. Legal: May disclose if required by law or to protect user safety.
4. Your Rights
• Access: View all data in Profile & Settings • Edit: Update profile anytime • Delete: Permanent account deletion via Settings • Location: Revoke in device settings • Export: Request a full export of your personal data • GDPR/CCPA: Full data purge within 30 days of request
5. Data Retention
• Chat messages auto-delete when collision expires (24 hours) • Location data cleared when discovery session ends • Profile data retained until account deletion • Payment records retained per legal requirements (Stripe manages) • Account deletion triggers full data purge within 30 days
6. Children's Privacy
Enso is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will delete their account and associated data.
